We can’t do our work without your support – be that financially or in person.
By becoming a member, you are helping us to buy necessary vital equipment, such as rabbit tree-guards; to renew fencing; or employ specialists such as tree-surgeons; fuel and servicing for equipment; and utilities at our Education Centre/meeting room, to name but a few. Over the years membership contributions have also enabled the purchase of hides at two reserves, a contribution of £5K to purchase of Hodgson’s Fields, the purchase of Toffling Hill at £11K from restricted funds; purchase of event gazebo; heavy duty mower for reed cutting at Haverfield; and a trailer to transport equipment.
Every single penny goes towards our work on the reserves as we are all volunteers – every single one of us.
There are three levels of paid membership:
- Single at £12 per year,
- Family at £14, and
- Affiliated organisations/corporate at £20.
However, Schools and Children’s groups can receive free membership on application.
Each year you will receive a number of our Journals, to which you are welcome to submit articles for publishing, and the opportunity to join us for activities both indoors and on our reserves.
Membership has other benefits such as discounts in certain South Holderness businesses.
